One might wonder why "Tree of Life" in a cemetery. You will find out as you get here. The road just opens up to show a tree that looks likes the famous "Tree of Life" that is a common motif in various theologies, mythologies, and cultures around the world. The term alludes to the interconnection of all life on our planet and serves as a metaphor for common descent in the evolutionary sense. There are 84 interments at this cemetery. Not very much information but it is nicely kept. We have to give credit to Julie Waltz, County Clerk, for informing us about this cemetery and giving permission for this cache.
