About 2 km west of the Eureka weather station.
Cylindrical steel container, former coffee dispenser. Contains CD with photos, rose rock, Year of the Veteran pin, pin from Alberta, medal from "Eureka Midnight Sun Run". Cache placed here by the staff of "Op Hurricane 2006", a military operation whose purpose it is to do annual maintenance on the microwave link between CFS Alert and the Satellite Ground Station in Eureka. First geocache for all of us.
