How Geocaching Works
A new cache in a familiar area but different location. This time you are looking for an ammo can.
Driving on Union Road, turn East on the little gravel road directly across from Beaver Valley Wetlands. This is Beaver Valley Road.... it may not appear on your GPS driving maps, and is the only reasonable way into this cache. You may have been down this road before to find a cache called "RR Lake Road & Access Beyond" by UNIBear. That cache was recently archived and I thought the area should be kept active.
Back in the day, this place was called "Falls Access" and my college roommates and I spent a fair amount of time exploring these woods, usually on nice days when we were supposed to be in class.
There is a little parking lot off the gravel road that enters the access, and from there you can walk or ride a fat-tire bike the rest of the way on a primitive road. Very little light bushwacking is required at the end of your journey. Be mindful of the hunting seasons and wear something orange when appropriate.
