William O. ‘Bill’ Shuman, of Greencastle, Pa., served the citizens of the Greencastle-Antrim area for many years in the state legislature at Harrisburg. Over the years, he presided over many community, civic and festive affairs. He gave out diplomas at graduations, he was grand marshall in local parades and presided over many a "Old Home Week" festivities. His legacy did not end with his passing in 1985. A grassy wayside rest, located in a Greencastle playground and named in Shuman’s honor is also the site of a micro-cache. Please bring your own writing implement, and replace the cache, a small round Tupperware container, as you find it.
