Located in the Bruneau Dunes State Park Area. Day Pass required or
included for campers. Family friendly and not a big hike required
over the dunes.
Cache is in a small jar. Someone replaced the plastic container
shaped like a bear, about 12" long 6" round with a red screw on
cap. As for the normal ground cover in this area, watch for sticky
bushes. Contents include: Geo Patch, thermometer, 76 Antenna Ball,
VW Key Chain, US Flag, US Flag pin, Spirit Button, Geocache Trash
Bag. Please replace and cover well. This is a busy area but cache
was placed in a low traveled area of the park. Let me know how the
cords are doing. Enjoy the hunt.

June 13, 2009 by Rolling Oldies (1861 found) Day 7 of 10 Still caching Mountain Home area. Since we're staying at the "Dunes" we probably should get these caches off our list!. Right!Headed out around 7:30AM and was back in camp by 8:30AM, it seemed pretty easy at first until Mr Oldie decided to take one of his "shortcuts" because he know all and is never wrong. We have concludd this cache could have the Terrain rating of a 6+ if your willing to hike a 1/4 mile through the 6' tall reeds and swampy water. This is how we did it! The walk out was much easier since we followed a nice trail, except for the mosquito's, it was a rather plesant and rewarding journey. Thanks Trade a couple toys for a couple toys. Left a Rolling Oldies Micro GeoMarble. TFTH-SL Rolling Oldies

June 12, 2009 by Intrepid64 (112 found) Another quick find after hiking the dunes. There was heavy rain on and off while we were hiking. A thunderstorm rolled in while we were on top of the dunes, so we got off the top fairly quickly. Glad we took extra insect repellent. The mosquitoes are out in swarms today. SL TNLN TFTC
