Geocache Description:

on the other side of the other sand prairie. just north of the cemetery.

pretty good size for a small. please do not over tighten the lid on this cache , until recently i did not know this area was part of the Teno sand Prairie. there has been lots of work going on here, removing tree's and burning off the ground. an effort that is aimed at returning this area to it's natural state. there is a new picnic shelter here. this part of the sand prairie has it's own parking area it is a short walk from there to the cache. this area is managed by the mahaska county conservation board. there is no hunting on this preserve.
