De-con container located less then 300 yds. from the summit of Wilson Peak in the Anza-Borrego State Park.
Trailhead can be reached by turning west on Old Culp Valley Road at 10.4 on Montezuma Valley Road. You'll need a high clearance vehicle to go the few miles to the trailhead on Pinyon Ridge. The hike is more of a plesant walk through junipers and a few sparse pinyons. The roundtrip distance from the trailhead is 8.5 miles so be prepared. FTF can have a 1942 Walking Liberty Half-Dollar but be warned: This is a karma cache, leave something worthy of this cache. The cache is located near the end of the abandoned jeep trail only 300 yds. from the summit. You'll have to scramble the rest of the way. It might be a little easier to circle behind and approach from the east. Enjoy the view and don't forget to sign the peak register. Please watch where you put your hands and feet, this is snake country.
