This is our first cache, it's located in a small town historical park. Next door is the Old Bridgeville Firehouse, built in 1911. In the back of the park, is an old slaves' house. You can rest a little and listen to the relaxing sounds of nature. Enjoy the babbling rock-scape that used to be the little Koi pond. Be careful, there may be times when there will be muggles around. Then again, there may not be any. There won't be any need to walk through or in the garden. The second weekend (Fri pm and Sat.)in October is the Annual Apple-Scrapple Festival. It pays homage to 2 important businesses in town, the apple orchard and the scrapple packing house (hence, our name). If you don't know what scrapple tastes like, you may just have to fight the crowds and get a sandwich that weekend and enjoy all the other festivities. BUT...If you really want to know what scrapple is, it's everything but the "OINK".
The co-ordinates should be fairly close, however the GPS did bounce a bit because of the building nearby and the tree cover. We live nearby, so we will do regular maintenance. We hate to find a crummy stash!
Please sign log and re-hide well.
Happy Caching!
