Geocache Description:

Micro near Lake Marion in Lakeville.

This is a cache in a new series. “PL Cache to Eagle” highlights the accomplishments of Eagle Scouts throughout the Prairie Lakes District of the Northern Star Council.

This is a fine example of what a Scout is capable of doing. In order to achieve the rank of Eagle, a Scout must plan and implement a service project to demonstrate his communcation and management abilities.

The split rail fence and shore restoration near this cache was done by an Eagle Scout from Troop 263 in Lakeville. He also planted 3,700+ plugs along the water line, 15 shrubs, and 10 oak trees. Lots of planning and labor went into this project! You’ll have a nice view of the project just around the bend from the cache location.

The cache is actually smaller than a micro and you will need your own pencil.
