Geocache Description:

This Cache is situated in Holyrood Park, with an amazing view of Edinburgh and the Firth of Forth. This cache will be easy to find but requires a bit of steep climbing depending on the route that you take. There are many paths, but the most direct one from the car park (near the swans) is very steep, and can be very muddy at times.

This is our very first Cache as C3P4J and it has been named "4 Jan" for various reasons. But before I get to that, let me tell you about the actual cache.

This is no micro, it's a good old regular lock and seal container filled with fun and interesting stuff... Well I guess this will only last for the first few finds, but we would like to try keep the contents as interesting as possible and visit from time to time to keep it that way.

I (Charles) had originally hid this very same container here a couple of months back for Jan (My Fiancée)'s birthday, but back then it was filled to the brim with all sorts of sweets including a huge bag of jelly tots (South African Jelly Tots!)

It's now quite a few months later and we are Enganged! To be married on the 4th of January 2010! So I thought the name would be quite appropriate!

To finish off I just want to say that one of the main reasons to visit this cache would be for the stunning view, and if you follow the paths, it's really quite an easy one to find! I hope you enjoy the spot as much as Jan and I have!
