Geocache Description:

A pair of boots and is a good idea, there’s a hill to climb and long grass to soak your trousers after rain. An enjoyable walk especially when the bluebells are out. Watch out for the midges in summer. Lots of wildlife.

The Jeep Cache is held in a plastic food box. It contains the Red Jeep Wrangler, which should not be removed.

The aim of the cache is to gather Jeeps and anything to do with them. Visiting travel bugs are most welcome, especially of the Jeep variety. I'm a Jeep fanatic...!!!

To begin the hunt for the Jeep Cache, its best to start at the bottom Langbank village and park/arrive at the Railway station. From there you head south along the Main Road and up the side of the A8. When you reach 55’ 55.369 N 4’ 33.889 W turn right under the railway bridge and into the Ferryhill Plantation, The search begins.

Interestingly, The small stone causeway that crosses the burn is said to be Roman.

Anyway, back to the hunt. The signal on your GPS maybe tricky as you’re in a wooded area..

You’ll get good views to Dumbarton Castle and down to the Argyll Alps, so bring your camera and post a picture after.
