Geocache Description:

The industrial area of West Seattle has more to offer than the casual observer might see - unless you're a geocacher.

Longfellow Creek is one of only three remaining open, unpiped, free-flowing creeks in Seattle, and as such is a unique and irreplaceable natural resource. The Longfellow Creek watershed is almost 3000 acres in size. The Longfellow Creek Legacy Trail is a three-mile continuous trail from Yancy Street in the north to Roxhill Park in the south.

This cache is located in the vicinity of the recently contructed Dragonfly Pavilion. The cache is kid friendly, and is initially stocked with various sea creature toys. You will be looking for a green ammo box. The trail to the cache is narrow with a few spots that can be a little tricky for small feet, so we rated it 2.

**Alternate parking coords near a trailhead during construction of the Dragonfly Pavilion are: N 47º34.067 W 47º22.076 - watch for the No Parking zones.
