Geocache Description:

Easy micro by a neat old bridge

Halfway between Edmonds and Richmond Beach is an old bridge on the way to Grandma’s house. Anytime we crossed over this bridge to visit was a time for joy. She had a big back yard with cherry trees, apple trees and just plain climbing trees that she let us play on. There was also a wading pool that we could float our boats in and trails down through the Madrona trees that led to the beach below. With her cheerful smile, rosy cheeks and a twinkle in her eye she was the perfect image of what a grandmother should be and the little dishes of mint candies that she had out were always a welcome treat. And as for desert...Ummm ummm... we would be served ice cream topped with maraschino cherries! What could be better than that?
