RocketMan was in town for a visit and sent out a last minute call to get a few SD cachers together for a run. FlagMan, Trailgators and John of jahoadi and john were up for it. Flagman had some intel on an easier back way into the eastern most East Mesa Fire Road caches in Cuyamaca so we hopped into the Jeep and the F.J. and off we went. This cache is placed at the eastern end of the East Fire Mesa Road (hiking trail) off of Deer Park Road. We hiked to Granite Spring from here which was 3 miles one way.
