The only thing special about this place in the desert is the set of
coordinates that locates it.
The inspiration for this cache came from GarminArmin's "All About
Numbers" (GCHEK4) and Web-ling's "A Pair Of Quintuplets" (GC338E).
Decent dirt roads will get you to within 300 ft. of the site and no
bush-whacking is required. Please do not take your vehicle off the
established roads, this desert surface is fragile and shows tire
scars for years. Cache contains small trinkets and a Sacajawea
Dollar for the First To Find.

November 14 by tech4rf (299 found) Saw a group of six stray dogs cross the road on my way to this one. So I paused for a moment to watch them wander off then took the short walk on the well used georoad that has been made to GZ. TFTC
[view this log] | November 11 by chaosmanor (3354 found) Having completed our quest to get cache Finds along the northern border of Los Angeles County, east of the 14, Webfoot and I could now look to working our way back to civilization, and the long drive home. Having discovered that many of the dirt roads out here are as good as, or even better than, many paved roads, we didn't make a strong effort to get back to pavement quickly, but took what caching opportunities came up on the screen The name of this cache, and the write-up on it, made it too enticing to pass up, so we made the short walk from where we parked, and quickly got the cache. Of course, we thought about invoking the Truth in Advertising laws, as one of your last 4s was really a 6 on both of our geepers, but we decided to cut you some slack, under the "horseshoes and hand grenades" rule Heh; we had fun with this, as you must have had when you hid it, and that's the Bottom Line, good buddy! Thanks, Marty
[view this log] | November 11 by Webfoot (2808 found) Every now and then, you just have to let whimsey take over and place one at a certain spot, because you can. This one certainly qualifies, although I count 11 fours. Or am I just picking nits here? Probably. Nice cache container and good job at keeping it close to the correct coordinates. Chaosmanor and I were doing the GPSr two step out there to see how close we could zero out the coordinates. We were within about 10 feet or so from the cache where our GPSrs zeroed out. That's close enough for government.I took nothing, left nothing and signed the log this afternoon. Thanks for the cache. And since I found this on Veteran's Day, I would also like to thank Grandpa for serving in World War I, thanks to my Uncle Larry for serving in North Africa during World War II, thanks to my nephew who is serving on an aircraft carrier in the Western Pacific and thanks to my niece's husband, who served in Afghanistan.
