Warning

Please note: To use the services of geocaching.com, you must agree to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Located in Wilson Park at the northern entrance to Whyalla.
The object after which the cache is named is at the given coordinates.
The plaque on the structure has a date on it.
Using this date, set a equal to the second digit of the day and b equal to the third digit of the year.
Calculate x = (2 times a times b) plus a.

Starting at the structure, steer a course which gets you to the point which is x metres away in the direction a degrees south of true east.
You will have to use your rudder to curve around some rocks on the way!

The cache is a 450ml container - small swaps only.

You want a hint to find the treasure, me hearties?
'Tis hidden under the side of the bush away from muggle eyes, of course!

I was on my way back to Whyalla to catch my plane so I only had time for a couple of caches. This one caught my fancy as I wanted to investigate the rudder and I like projection caches too.
Stinking hot too so I went out and got the info first and back in the car made it all work.
Back out again in the fierce heat but not for long as the cache was right where I wanted it to be.
Thanks Bunya

With a south wind, we was able to navigate past rocks, got the right bearings, without muggles, landed ashore, and located the cache, TFTHSL L-Pirate toy Coin, Glow in dark Lizard, and T-Toy Car. (although the cache is slightly damage missing a Lug from lid when found). Well done Bunya liked this one.
