Eglise Saint-Jean-Baptiste (1874 – 1884)
C’est en 1581 que la famille de Rosmar alors propriétaire du château fit construire une chapelle privée qui fut cédée en 1656 à la commune, ainsi qu’un terrain pour le futur cimetière. La famille de Guébriant fait agrandir la chapelle en 1838 et érige un clocher. Un Chemin de Croix est ajouté en 1842 et des fonts baptismaux de marbre blanc en 1846. Malgré toutes ces reconstructions, la vieille église menace de s’effondrer et en 1874 on décide d’en reconstruire une nouvelle que le nonce apostolique ambassadeur du Vatican viendra consacrer le 2 août 1884. Suite à de nouvelles rénovations, et après quelques années de fermeture au public, l’église Saint Jean Baptiste a pu retrouver ses fidèles fin 2007. [source Wikipedia]

Saint-Jean-Baptiste (1874 – 1884)
In 1581 the family who owned the castle Rosmar built a private chapel, which was sold in 1656 to the town and a cemetery land for the future. The family of Guebriant enlarged the chapel in 1838 and set up a steeple. A Way of the Cross is added in 1842 and the baptismal font of white marble in 1846. Despite all these reconstructions, old church and threatens to collapse in 1874 it was decided to rebuild a new ambassador to the Vatican's Apostolic Nuncio will spend August 2, 1884. After further renovation, and after several years of closure to the public, the church of St. John the Baptist was able to find his followers in late 2007. [Source Wikipedia]
