The cache is located in a park in Chisinau, near a lake. It is a
popular walking place for local citizens. The site is located
beneath thick forest cover, so honing in on the location in the
summer can be difficult. Note carefully the clue; if you get the
general area there is probably only one possible
location.
The container is a small cream cheese box the size of a deck of
playing cards. Inside it are:

First Moldovan cache, and of course my first cache in Moldova   Visiting Moldova for about a week on my Eastern Europe trip, I was of course hoping to find a cache or two, even though there are not many around this beautiful country - from 4 currently listed caches, one is disabled at the moment, and one seems to have gone missing before it was ever found. I found the other two . After arriving in Chisinau (by overnight train from Bucharest) and leaving my baggage at the station, I went straight to this cache. Nice walk through this very green part of the city. Found the cache without prblems - in fact I found two caches, one being a 35mm micro and one a very slightly larger container, probably two versions of the cache  so I signed both logs and went back to the center to have a look around. Nice place, thanks! Meant to leave a travel bug or two, but there was no place.. so logging through a few TB's to mark their visit in Moldova. Found at 10:19, only cache of the day.

We made it! We was looking for it on the other side of the bridge, and in the end it was a real luck, but Popokatepetla succeeded...right on time. Thanks for the cache, it wouldn't be bad to have more of them in Moldova!

Jeeeee this was quite difficult one... We found it probably easily, but the last log in the logbook was from previous year!!! there were two possible boxes and it seems that we had chosen the original one, probably. it was small film canyster, even though we had seen even the bubble gum box it seemed to us bit empty and worse accessible therefore we picked up the other one, so we were bit surprised together with kryska, but i hope owner will deal with it. found during student excursion.

I think this was the first time that I got up an hour early just to do a cache. And when you only go to bed at 3:30 AM and get up at 7:30 to walk 2 kms to this cache and back, that counts for something! Almost gave up because I thought trolls live near the roots. But anyhow, found it, logged it, off home tomorrow!TFTC / I-want-your-cache #384
