A one mile walk from a church located at a dead-end, through a copse with route variation if adventurous!
There is car parking available adjacent to the church at the following co-ords... N50*50'49.1" W001*17'29.0" (DMS) Follow the path southwards. Once through the access point, take the right fork if you don't mind a bit of mud (!) or go left and fence-side for an easier life. Eventually, you will need to leave the footpath to find the cache. Look out for the old fenced ice-house that is situated on the left as you leave the path and work your way down the slightly marked path. The cache is a small sealable food box holding a pen, a log book and a ID page at a minimum. Beware of muggles!!! Please leave the cache as you found it - hidden. Upon leaving the site, turn LEFT on the small path, walk to the main path and turn RIGHT, then proceed through the car park (this is an alternative quicker route to the cache). After approx. 200 yards you will be rewarded with a fine view of the Solent and the IOW. A nice place to stop for a rest, snack and/or photo shoot. We hope you enjoy our first cache!
