How Geocaching Works
This cache is not located in the town. We heard two different stories why the town has it's nickname. One was when the river was used for navigation there were tree stumps in the river. The other was from a local historian that this was the end of the railroad line and a big stump kept the train from going off the track. Cache has normal items in it.
WARNING
Winter conditions and the ice make it IMPOSSIBLE to drive up the grade and out of the Park!! Park on the road to prevent this.
