Time: 9:00-9:30 AM


Someone with the Star Committee will be available at the Event site until 11:-00 AM, so if you're running late, please don't hesitate to drop by after 9.. We will also have our phone numbers available at the event for any questions that may arise..


The Indiana Star is composed of 51 Star caches. All of the caches are puzzles. Each cache page will present Indiana trivia - past and present, people, places, history and such stuff. Most of the hides in this series are 1.5/1.5, however there are a few light hikers and a couple a ways off the highway. The Difficulty has also been raised based on the question associated and the Terrain has be raised to allow for seasonal difficulties that may arise.


Our plan is for the caches to publish around 6 PM the evening of Sept 11.. We will also have laptops available at the event to email gpx, download to GPS, and also hard copy available for cell phone users.. The caches are laid out to allow for multiple people to obtain FTF's and in this spirit, we ask that everyone wait until after the event to hunt the Star hides.. We plan to have another 50+ hides in the immediate area in addition to the 51 for the Star..



The Indiana 50 State Star Committee is a group of area geocachers that have come together in support of this project. Various individuals have joined forces to place these caches and create the trivia for your enjoyment. Special thanks to Bunrun, Oops C. Daisy, and Through Her Eyes Only for their help in making this project happen. Please be respectful of the property and surroundings. Please leave only a footprint behind.
