There is a whole network of delta roads between Rio Vista on the Sacramento River and the Fairfield, Vacaville, Dixon corridor along I-80. These roads wind along the levees and criss-cross the farmland. Both paved and dirt, they offer many opportunities for hiding caches. Those who have cached here before know that the area provides a fun day of traveling “the backroads” and can result in a “big numbers” day. This new series of seven caches will help add to the fun of those coming here for the first time, and hopefully provide a reason to come out and revisit the area for those who have cached here in the past.
The series consists of seven (7) caches; six preliminary caches and one finale. Each cache can be logged separately, but to find the finale (a nice big juicy ammo can) you must first find all of the preliminary caches. Each contains part of the coordinates needed to locate the finale. The clues are printed on the cache logs (and usually someplace on the cache container as well).
