West Side of Cameron Brown Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

prontopup: This cache is too near the new road construction to leave active. The cache itself has been removed. In fact, removal was an adventure because the construction has created some new hazards. When the road is complete then maybe there will be a good place for another hide. Thanks to those who hunted this one.

Geocache Description:

Located near the Wolf River and close to the western edge of Cameron Brown Park in Germantown, Tennessee.

This cache is a typical "ammo can in the woods" and the container is an ammo can. The cache is located where the coordinates say it is and there is no puzzle to solve. It is designated a "mystery" cache becaue of the logging requirement. This is just a walk through a forest followed by the pleasure and challenge of hunting a cache. The terrain will be the biggest challenge to finding this one although the container is hidden pretty well.

The cache is hidden roughly: 0.17 miles from a paved pathway; 0.25 miles from the "Decay" cache; 0.27 miles from "Bitbrain's 3rd" cache; and 0.29 miles from the closest parking.

Tree cover is heavy. Typical forest cache: tics, snakes, poison ivy, forest creatures, interesting terrain, and thorns.

Follow all park rules, especially the opening and closing times. Heed posted signs.

Coordinates were obtained using a Garmin 60CSx which I allowed to average over 1000 readings.
