Welcome to our second series of Lake Casitas caches, the Shoreline Lake Trail.
Park hours for day-use is from sunrise to sundown. Walking or biking in is free. Otherwise, there is a day use fee that ranges from $8-$10 per vehicle. Therefore, conserve energy and car pool or park outside and unload your bike.
This portion of the series is on the Shoreline Lake Trail which is a dirt trail that can easily be hiked or mountain biked. There are some steep portions but we did it with the kids and the bike trailer full of ammo cans and water. Round trip is about 4 miles from a nice parking area. We, as a family, believe that if it is difficult to get to the cache site then the find should be easy!

You are looking for an ammo box. After you find it stop and enjoy the waterfowl. There are many pairs of Egrets, Great Blue Heron, and multitudes of ducks.
