Geocache Description:

An easy walk from the car park up to the cache site which is a clearing in a pine forest favoured by mountain bikers and hikers alike.

The best way to visit this cache is to park at Holme Village and follow the footpath across Ramsden Reservoir to the site, but if time and weather are not on your side, try the car park at 53, 32.826N 001,49.640W. This will place you within about five minutes of the cache.

The walk betwen Holme village offers some lovely views and some very special little places, such as a bridge which crosses a waterfall in the middle of a rocky glade, or a walk across the dam wall looking down over Holmfirth.

The Cache is a white tupperware box containing toys and novelty stationery, as well as a couple of pot bellied pigs.
It is hidden in an archway close to what was once a building of some kind. Any suggestions about what this place might once have been would be received with interest.

British National Grid Co-ordinates for the Cache site are: SE 11765, 05480
