Event is a normal CITO along the Ascalon Trail, within the Cloudland Canyon state park. Meet at the Ascalon Trailhead, off Ascalon Road, accessible from either GA 189 or GA 157 (Hinkle Road). Event officially is from 9-10 AM.
When placing some new caches along the Ascalon Trail, we noticed a fair amount of trash and debris, including tires and a toaster! As a small thank-you to this great state park for allowing so many caches to be placed, let's all spend a little time making the trails clean and clear! Meet us at the Trailhead at 9AM; we will have trash bags, log sheet, and a list of caches along the Ascalon trail either direction from the main Ascalon Trailhead. Please bring gloves, bug spray and sturdy walking shoes! This is a multi-use trail.
