The cache is not at the posted coordinates
See, I hid a cache in Fremont the other day, a simple film canister micro in a sort-of interesting spot - just the kind of thing Fremont has become known for. There were lots of satellites visible at the cache site, so I'm pretty sure about the coordinates I captured.
- Except that I goofed. I hooked the cable up to my GPS backwards. Somehow or other the connector rode up over the little ridge that aligns the connector a certain way. I didn't know this when I tried to pull the coordinates out of the GPS, but it became obvious soon enough. MapSource fidgeted and flickered for awhile, then a window opened up that looked like this...
... and my computer rebooted. My GPS lost all it's waypoints too. Bummer.
I remember where the cache is, sorta, but I've been busy lately what with trying to keep my find rate up and all, and I really don't have time to drive there and take another reading. I'm hoping that people can just figure it out on their own. Sorry about that, but you know how it goes.
