The views from this location are excellent. The main points of interest here including the White Horse, Oldbury Castle (Iron Age Fort) and the Landsdowne Monument, plus of course the cache.
The Cherhill White horse is the second oldest White Horse in Wiltshire. It was called "the most perfectly formed white horse" and can be seen for miles around. Oldbury Castle is a fortified hill fort and with fantastic ramparts/banks, it is a very interesting location.

This cache is located another 0.5 mile from the first location, some distance from the sensitive area. It is an ammo box. You are STRONGLY recommended to take thick gloves to access this cache. When replacing the cache please ensure it is hidden from view in every direction.
