Geocache Description:

AS OF 10/1/10: Had to move quite some distance because of tree trimming, construction work, etc. Feel free to log again, as the new location is quite different. No need to park along I99 for this cache; plenty of safe parking is available nearby.

Should be a quick park-and-grab. Ample parking nearby. Relatively muggle-free, especially during the summer. Container holds some trade items, suitable for children and perhaps pet lovers. FTF prize included!

I've taken it as my mission to place some relatively simple caches in the area. After geocaching in other towns, I'm amazed at not only the sheer number of caches to be found, but also at the relative simplicity of a great many of those caches. A zip code cache search in this area not only returns a very small number of caches in comparison to other towns (often towns with less population), it also returns a majority of puzzle- and multi-caches. While I enjoy these, sometimes I just want to FIND the thing! I think a great way to generate interest and participation is by giving newcomers (and oldtimers!) some quick and easy finds. I hope others agree!
