Geocache Description:

In the beautiful location of Fountains fell.

This amazing hill was once mined by the monk's of Fountains Abbey. It is now home to the sheep that live on the hill side. Once at the top of the hill there are amazing peat bogs and tarns, with a spectacular view of Pen-y-gent. This walk and the views are amazing at any time of the year be it sun shine or snowing you are sure to to fall in love with this beautiful place.
