How Geocaching Works
Park at the little white church in Eaton or directly across the street there is room for one vehicle to pull over. Follow the wide grassy logging road all the way up. It was beautiful in mid-June with daisies and buttercups (and ticks!!) The hike up is barely half a mile, but is steadily up, climbing almost 300 feet.
Come for this cache on a clear day, the view is awesome. It is not panoramic, but a splendid window including the best: Mount Washington and Carter Notch. It also looks down on Crystal Lake in Eaton.The cache is a Lock 'n Lock as of May 18, 2008 and contains assorted items collected from other caches and a log book.
