Very difficult terrain recommended for only experienced out door enthusiast. The first five miles of the seven mile hike can be driven with a very high clearance 4wd. If the entire hike is to be walked an overnight stay will most likely be required. Pack for any type of weather. Elevation is 14085 ft. Snow is probable Sept. thru May, be prepared.
