Twelve miles of abandon railroad grade, comprising of 144 acres, in Door County from Sturgeon Bay to the South County Line for hiking, biking, snowmobiling and horseback riding. Access at Forestville Dam County Park and 1820 S Neenah Avenue in Sturgeon Bay with restrooms and parking facilities. This is part of the ICE AGE TRAIL which goes from Potawatomi State Park in Sturgeon Bay to Interstate State Park on the Minnesota border.
The Door County Parks Dept. oversees the development and operation of 19 county parks, covering approximately 948 acres and 12 miles of trails, 7 launching ramps, 3 swimming beaches, 14 restrooms and picnic and playground facilities. Bring your own pencil.
