Hidden in a little wooded area [Pondtail Copse] just off Pondtail Road is "Watch Out For The Copse!", number 1.
This is a cache in the same vein as "A Very Dead End" and "Let's Go Bushwacking". It is well hidden and could prove rather allusive.
This cache is suitable for Geocoins, Travel Bugs and small swaps. Please do NOT take the pencil, sharpener or pen as these are part of the fabric of this cache.
This is a small cache which contains a log book, pen, pencil and sharpener at the time of publishing, along with a few small swaps.
Please ensure that you put it back in exactly the same place and way, thanks.
Ensure that all camouflage is replaced properly so that you can't see the cache from any angle, please check this carefully, as otherwise this cache will be muggled as this copse is popular with dog walkers and local youths, so stealth may be required.
This is a nice little copse with a stream, good paths and some interesting wildlife and flora. You can usually hear at least one woodpecker at work and in the twilight or at night tawny owls are often heard hooting away. Lots of blackbirds, thrushes, sparrows, various tits [no I don't mean the local youths ;-)], wood-pigeons, doves and so on.
Nearest parking is in Amundsen Road, or Cook Road.
