Honey Creek Hike #2 Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Wis Kid: As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

One more regular to get you back to Honey Creek.

This straightforward hide takes you on a hike around the perimeter of the Cherry Lake Sedge Meadow State Natural Area. While the cache is not within the natural area, you can take some time to visit this beautiful area after making your find. Some unique plants in this area are round-leaved sundew, shrubby cinquefoil, yellow twayblade, marsh St. Johns-wort, marsh fern, and sphagnum moss.

The cache is a one gallon plastic jar, hidden in a very normal way. You won't spend a lot of time looking for this one, as this cache is all about taking a hike to visit the area.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Marty Johnson of the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager. The DNR Notification form and land manager information can be obtained at: (visit link)
