Well the cache was swept away by the river Gods. However the river Gods taketh and giveth fruitful bounty. I found a five gallon Colman cooler near the cache location. This will be the new container. The coordinates have changed. Not far from the old though.
This cache is named for the new inflatable boats we bought. Great fun. We launched from the bridge in Sultan. Four hours later we landed in Monroe at Lewis street bridge.
The cache is hidden on a river island. Unnamed so it will now be known as Leatherman Island.

These are for an alternate landing area. It is a boat launch off of Ben howard rd. You will need a Steward ship parking permit though. If you don't have one they are $10 at a sports shop. This landing spot takes two and a half miles off our landing spot. That will shave about an hour off the trip.

Here is another alternate landing. This is a fisherman's access to the river. A small creak inlet, and a steep trail to Ben Howard Rd. It may cut the entire trip down to one hour.
A little Shameless self-promotion. You can reach three of my other caches from this river. Deer(buck)Island, Bob Heirman, and Lowell Riverfront. I don't know how long it would take to float from Sultan to Lowell. However I think a power boat would make a short trip of it.
Keep a watch for a few other caches on this river. We'll make a small series.
