I think that everyone loves a challenge in one form or another, be it mental or physical or both. Many caches seem to promise to challenge geocachers by including the word "challenge" in their titles. This challenge cache is about challenging yourself to find some of these challenging caches.
The rules for this one are simple. Before signing the log (the cache IS at the listed coordinates) and claiming the find, you must qualify as below:
1. Find ten (10) geocaches that have the word “challenge” in their names.
2. At least five (5) of the geocaches must be mystery/puzzle type.
3. The ten geocaches must come from at least three (3) different states (provinces/countries).
4. You may include no more than two (2) caches by the same cache owner.
5. You may not include a cache that you own.
6. This cache itself may not be included.
When logging your find for this cache, don’t bother with a bookmark list, just include a list of the ten qualifying caches in your “found” log (include GC#, cache name, cache owner, cache type, and state). Please do not log this cache as a find if you have not met the challenge and have not listed your qualifying caches in your log. If you do, I will unfortunately be forced to unceremoniously and summarily eradicate your log (and I don’t want to have to do that)!
A note about the cache hide: as with most of my mystery/puzzle caches, the puzzle (or in this case the challenge) is the difficult part; the hide should be easy to find (i.e., the difficulty and terrain of the cache represent your toils while completing the requirements; the actual cache hide is a 1.0/1.5).
