Strider: With the Hampton Ave. overpass shutting down tomorrow, I did a maintenance run of my Forest Park caches today.

Ok, I found this one right about where I placed it, WITH the log book in it. I think the previous one must still be around but I couldn't find it today either. I did find a knapsack & bedroll up against the wall though. This has been in some guy's living room for too long, so with regret after 226 finds, I am archiving this one. Thanks to everybody who has looked for it, and thanks to the guy who stays here for not taking it. I might put another cache nearby this winter after I see what the bushes look like after they lose their leaves.

Geocache Description:

A nice simple cache in the part of Forest Park that the area hospitals want to buy. It is a very nice section of the park, with tennis & racquetball courts, and a playground for kids.

You need to read up on it in the paper or watch the news to find out the pros & cons of this debate. I just put the cache here so everybody can see this area. Parking is available nearby.

This cache has been muggled before, but I don't think it is by the park workers. The St. Louis city (and St. Louis county) parks departments are very supportive of Geocaching. This one does tend to drift around in here though. So just expand your search if needed, and put it back in a concealed location.
