Chris, age 7, is having cabin fever! He needs an afternoon at the beach. Starting at 11:00am, on Sunday, July 27, join us for this CITO of this little gem of a beach. Bring your gloves and we'll bring the Camp Soap to wash up before lunch! There are three trash cans to collect our finds, two charcoal BBQ grills available, a bike rack and porta-potty on site. The boat launch is right next door for those that wish to paddle Roxbury Pond, Ellis Pond or Silver Lake, which are all the same body of water. We will have a half shell tent to change clothing in for swimming. Bring your lawn chair to sun on the beach or to sneak into the shade to soak your feet in the outlet among the trees. There's a Variety Store up the hill with excellent pizza, sandwiches and other picnic offerings if you don't want to pack your lunch. Children welcome and are encouraged to attend. No dogs or alcohol please. This event will be held rain or shine since the pond is very pretty, even in the rain.
