Ashley Green Walkabout is a series of thirteen caches along a
walk, just under 4 miles long, which starts in the Buckinghamshire
village of Ashley Green, crosses into Hertfordshire near
Berkhamsted, and then re-crosses back into Buckinghamshire to
finish. The terrain is hilly, but the footpaths are well defined
and navigation is easy. Good parking is available in Ashley Green
(see waypoint) and cachers may be pleased to learn that there is a
nice village pub awaiting them at the end of the trail.
Number 13... unlucky for some? This is the final cache and also
the hill climbing is all behind you. You are looking for a cammoed
small locking tupperware. The cache should not cause you too much
trouble to find. After finding the cache, follow the footpath in
the direction of cache 1 and you will soon be back to your car
(pub!!).
