Time for my first event cache and why not on a day that happens every 4 years (and rare occasion 8 years, next time 2096-2104).
This is a meet & greet event on Leap Day 2016. By attending this event you will earn 1 of 2 Leap Day souvenirs for 2016 (By attending an event on Leap Day, the other you need to find at least one geocache during Feb 27-29). The location of the event has a pizza & food buffet available as well as other offerings(I'm sure they would appreciate a food purchase 
). So come on out for dinner on Leap Day and feed the kids or yourself, socialize with fellow geocachers, all while earning a new souvenir! Sounds like a no-brainer! Plus there might be new caches if I get to work on them.

No promises but I am hoping to try and get some new geocaches placed for Leap Day(dependent on free time from 2 job demand) around the area and be released on or before Leap Day(Need to check with reviewers on that possibility and create the caches too). In addition I've been wanting to get another night cache out and I'm thinking this is my opportunity to do so. If I do we could all plan as a group to go out afterwards. Granted this is assuming I get around to getting them placed but I have two months to do so.
