Meant for Adventurers. In the Historic Park of Smithville
This is a two part cache find. You can first travel by car along Rt 38 to Smithville Rd or take Powell Rd. to Smithville Rd. Along Smithville Rd is the intersection to East Railroad Avenue. You must take that road east about 1 mile and when there you will have to park and go along a park path by foot. You will need a compass for this one.
Even Indy needs a base camp, and you will find one here. There is a building with a restroom, a shelter, a picnic area and even a playground for the kids. There is also a place to get a map. Remember that Indy started his treasure hunt with a map, so get one it's free.
Part 1 Challenge- FIND THE X. (The X is at N 39.58.816
W 074.44.366)It will be off the path on the ground. You cannot miss it, it's made out of stones.
Part 2 Challenge- You're almost there now Indy. Head on a bearing of about 160 degrees for about 120 yards. (This is where your compass will come in handy)There is no coordinate given here Jones, you're on your own.
Now that is where you will find the treasure professor, at the end of that 120 yard stroll. But you must pay attention to the hint and you must handle the cache delicately. You also must put it back the way it was found.
This may require you to STEP ASIDE the pit of snakes as you handle the treasure.
One more thing, take a picture of yourself Indy and don't forget to write on the log.
