I deliver pianos to the business acrooss the parking lot. While delivering today, I wanted to do some caching. Saw that there wasnt anything listed right here and thought this would be a great place for a new one.
Over at another place in Kansas City area, I placed a cache that had a piece of longer piano wire as part of the cache. since then, there have been many comments in the find logs that say something to the effect of ; "so, this is what piano wire looks like, huh?" I thought everyone was familiar with it, but I guess that is not so. It is not such a big deal, but I put a piece of it in the log's baggie so that others can see what it looks like. Please return it to log's baggie, it is not part of the swag. Piano wire comes in multiple diameters for the various notes across the musical scale. It is similar to guitar, or banjo strings, but it is much longer, and there are notes that require much larger diameter wire. This wire is a piece of steel wire, wrapped in a copper colored wrapping wire. It is one of the larger ones that represent one of the keys from the left side of the piano's keyboard. (one of the base keys, or lower deeper notes).
I did not have any Travel Bugs to place in here today, but there IS ROOM to hold them if you have any to drop here.
cache is placed above ground, in the typical manner for this type of hide, to keep it out of the snow in winter time. If you find it on the ground, please return it to it's most obvious hiding place about 2-3 feet above ground, here at the birds' hiding place.
