Geocache Description:

Hidden a short walk up the hill from the second parking lot in Square Lake Park. Poison ivy is growing on the edge of the woods. A clearer way in is from the north grassy area. At the northeast corner is a small path through the raspberries to GZ.

This cache honors the 40th anniversary of Woodstock - Three Days of Peace and Music. First to find gets a peace sign pin and/or peace and love bandana. There are smiley pop-ups to get things started with trading. Enjoy a swim in Square Lake, a great clear-water swimming hole in north Washington County. Square Lake Park is designated as a Regional 'Special Recreation Feature' by the Metropolitan Council, because of Square Lake's outstanding water quality. Park at the second parking lot where you will have access to the beach and the cache. Visitors to Washington County Parks can plan a free visit: "Vehicle permits are not required in any Washington County Park on the first non-holiday Tuesday of each month; or on the first Saturday of June, which is 'Explore Your Parks Day' in Washington County." Peace!
