Geocache Description:

On a sidetrail intersecting the Rhode Island North-South Trail in Burlingame State Park

Butch and Sundance hid in the hole in the wall. Thus the name. If you think you have to bushwhack more than 30 or so feet, think again. The side trail intersects the North-South trail at N41° 23.409, W71° 42.586. The closest parking access for the North-South trail is at N41° 23.701 W71° 42.605, but we think you might want to enjoy more of the trail. Rhode Island North-South Trail Map A warning: At the parking access above, a sign says that hikers should wear 200 square inches of orange between the second Saturday in October and the last day of February. The area is posted as a no hunting area, but let's be safe! The original contents included a few lanyards, 2 of which were hand made, some American flags, a toy car, and the log.
