Apparently Appleton is working on building its very own ATOMIC DEATH RAY! We would have thought they might have chosen a more secretive location but here it is on a busy street in plain sight. Make sure to check it out!
****Update!! 12/5/2007 The city of Appleton has been thrown offguard by the geocaching community. After drawing attention to the DEATH RAY, the city has decided to move it to a more secure secret location and it is no longer availble for viewing.
Having just moved to the Appleton Area, we have enjoyed finding all of the area caches that are new to us. There are so many caches all around this town; it’s tough to find any real estate that’s still vacant!
This is our first hide in town so we figured we’d make it an easy one before we try to get tricky.
This is an easy cache to find, but we rated it higher because of the massive amounts of people driving by, working during business hours, and satellite interference.
