Geocache Description:

Celebrate Pi Day with a slice of pie in Southern Oregon on March 14 at 11am.

Pi Day (3.14) celebrates the mathematical constant (3.14159265359...), which has been calculated to over one trillion digits beyond its decimal point.  This year, Pi Day is extra special because the year ('15) matches to the numbers in pi that follow its common 3.14 estimate.  I wanted to hold the event at 9:26, but another group already has the meeting room (not related to Pi Day!).  Instead, please gather at 11am on 3/14/15 to celebrate with pie, coffee, pancakes, eggs, hotdogs, hamburgers, or whatever else on the menu catches your eye.  Bring a friend, along with any TBs to trade or share.

UPDATE 2/20/15: You will now be awarded a souvenir for attending an event on Pi Day. You can earn another souvenir by finding a mystery cache on 3/14/15. Details here: http://www.geocaching.com/blog/2015/02/happy-pi-day-earn-two-souvenirs/

Please RSVP in the log if you plan to attend, so I can give the pie place a reasonable estimate of cachers shortly before the event.
