I-90/I-495 Bug Hotel Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

MadMin: I attempted to contact the owner of this cache to find out about the status of this cache on June 3, 2008. I have received no response from the owner on the cache page or via email. Because of that I'm afraid I have to archive this cache.

I will be more than happy to review this cache again and (hopefully) reinstate it once you have corrected any issues with the cache. please contact me via ma.reviewer@gmail.com to do so.

Please note that unarchiving a cache page places it through the same review process as a newly proposed cache, using the cache placement guidelines currently in effect.

Geocache Description:

Come for a nice short walk. This cache is designed mainly to facilitate the flow of cache-to-cache travellers. It is located a few miles from the intersection of two major Eastern MA highways and has easy off/on access to the Interstate. Try to bring a traveller, but feel free to stop by without one. Kid friendly but watch for poison ivy along the wide trail.

* GroundSpeak Travel Bugs
* Travelling Caches
* GeoCoins
* Where's George Bills
* Other roaming objects

Optionally take a traveller

* No requirement to leave one to take one
* Look for a goal you can help with
* Take more than one if it's REALLY justified

Why a bug hotel?

* Seems somebody always grabs the bug before you can get there
* You are feeling guilty about that bug you have been holding on to
* You are about to travel and want to grab a bug to help along
* You are in from out-of-town and want an easy pickup/drop-off spot

Park in the dirt lot beside the pond. Follow the obvious trail. Use the hint if you are in a rush, finish the walk around if you are not. This is Ice House Pond, where townspeople used to cut their block ice. In these times, Winter finds it filled with ice skaters.

Please rehide carefully (and gently).
