This cache is back. I have finally restored a bit of treasure at the end of a nice forest walk. My last cache disappeared, maybe to some overzealous Park Ranger. This cache is placed outside of the National Park Boundaries, so any Ranger coming near could enjoy the hike, take something from the cahce, leave something, and then leave the cache. There is a new disposable camera in the cache to record visitors..
Have a nice hike to the end of the trail (2.3 mi.) if you come in from the National Park. If you decide to come up from Mt. Plesant Rd. The trail is extremely overgrown to the point where is it imperceptible. If you like bushwhacking, have at it.
Container is placed just outside of the National Park Boundary in an old clearcut. The container is a spiderman lunchbox, with cache materials placed in double ziplock bags.
The cache has a disposable camera, two passes to the Port Angeles YMCA, a slugbug keychain, a calculator, and other misc. stuff.
There is a lot of thorny brush around this stump. Wear long pants and a long sleve shirt.
