Orimattilan Kehräämö

Tekstiiliteollisuus oli vuosikymmenet kaupungin suurin työllistäjä. Kaitilan Kutomo, Virke Oy ja Valtion Villatehdas, sittemmin Selgrenin Kutomo, olivat merkittävimmät tehtaat. Villatehtaan kiinteistöä kutsutaan nykyään Kehräämöksi, ja siitä on kehittynyt vireä kulttuurikeskus.

Legendaariset Kantrifestarit aina heinäkuussa ja Kehräämön tanssit vetävät alan ihmisiä runsain joukoin paikalle. Sisätiloissa kannattaa muutenkin piipahtaa, siellä on monta mielenkiintoista putiikkia.

Kätkö on putkilo portin vasemmalla puolella.


Orimattilan Kehräämö

Textile factories were the main source of income in the town for decades. This building, Kehräämö, is now becoming an active culture center.

The cache is a canister on the left hand side of the main gate.
